Kevin L. Wilcox is a Principal of Comstock Johnson Architects Inc., who joined the firm in 1987. Since becoming a licensed architect, Mr. Wilcox has served as Project Manager for a broad range of commercial development, housing, and planning projects throughout California. He combines eight years of work in the construction industry with over twenty years of architectural experience, to bring a hands-on approach to the design process. With an emphasis on high levels of personal service, he has fostered successful professional relationships through diligent quality control.
Mr. Wilcox manages projects from initial program development through design, construction documents and construction contract administration. His projects cover a broad spectrum, including master planning of large, mixed use developments; design of commercial office and industrial buildings; intricate building remodels; various types of residential projects including multi-family, elderly and senior assisted living, prototype, custom single family and mixed use; and preparation of various design guidelines and project specifications.
A partial list of long standing clients includes Meyer Corporation, McCuen Properties, Century Management, The Luckey Company, Nelson Properties, The County of Sacramento, The City of Marysville, and Harrison Construction.
Mr. Wilcox's ongoing commitment to the profession includes membership of the American Institute of Architects and past President of the Construction Specifications Institute, Sacramento Chapter. He also extends his involvement to community organizations including the Rotary Club of East Sacramento, the American Red Cross, Special Olympics, College of the Redwoods Foundation and Alumni Association, and the University of California, Davis, Team Aggie Foundation.
