
Situated on Folsom’s deeply historic Sutter Street, this completely new, three level, retail facility has often been mistaken to be a remodel of a turn of the century building. The facade design allowed the building to fit in seamlessly with its century old neighbors and has been intensely occupied since its completion.
The building currently houses a large, street level art gallery and Lanza’s Restaurant above. The restaurant takes advantage of an extensive outdoor deck, built over the sidewalk, which provides wonderful views and direct contact with the lively pedestrian activities below.
The rear of the building steps down a steep hill with cascading plazas, landings and stairs, all framed by native river run cobble rock from the American River bed below.
