Master planned as the third of a five-building, 290,000 s.f. corporate campus, this project is a 60,000 s.f. building for an international laser and optics manufacturing company. Designed to reinforce the importance of lens curvature in laser and optics development, the radius front entry facade houses the main lobby, customer conference room, and executive offices. In total, approximately 40 percent of the tenancy was designed to consolidate the corporate management functions while the balance was for the relocation and future expansion of a manufacturing group.
A concise program was developed to document the company’s needs and to determine the project budget. Program changes did occur during the construction process but were effectively managed through a close working relationship with the contractor, Unger Construction, which enabled adherence to the project schedule.
