A new, two-story, 37,000 square foot administrative office facility which includes a full plan review inspection and public counter spaces. This new building serves as the Department Executive Branch, Administration, Engineering Division Headquarters for all functions of the Environmental Health Division for Sacramento County. The facility also includes an exterior vehicle inspection station and secured vehicle and equipment functions. The building utilizes numerous sustainable design features, including a high performance building envelope and operating systems, on-site shower and locker facilities, very low impact landscaping, low water usage plumbing fixtures, and optimal building orientation and internal configuration to maximize natural day lighting.
