Sister Eileen Enright, RSM, President of Cristo Rey Sacramento High School

In the fall of 2013, Cristo Rey High School purchased an existing building located at 8475 Jackson Road in Sacramento, CA. Comstock Johnson Architects was retained to provide design and construction documents for our major tenant improvement.

Comstock Johnson Architects met with our staff to understand their needs and created a remarkably efficient plan that exceeded our expectations. They were able to accommodate all of our needs plus some additional spaces that we were uncertain would fit into the existing building's shell. They created an appropriate interior design palette that reflects our culture and mission.

They worked seamlessly with our design-build contractors to produce a coordinated set of construction documents. They were our staunch advocates in processing our entitlements and building permit through the City of Sacramento. They were invaluable in negotiating with the building officials over bringing our existing building up to current code and dealing with change of use.

While we were under construction Comstock Johnson Architects always made themselves available to deal with conflicts between existing conditions and the construction documents. They were instrumental in coming up with efficient solutions involving multiple building trades helping to keep our schedule in place.

We are very grateful for the effort made my Comstock Johnson Architects. They helped Cristo Rey High School attain its vision and goals for our new school. The spaces they have created will help transform our students and change their lives in a positive, enriching way.

It is without hesitation that I would recommend Comstock Johnson Architects for the professional services they offer.
